Hi. My name is Jackie Brooks, I am a florist who gained a Distinction in my final exam.

I now run my own floristry business.

My flowers come direct from Holland, to my door in Maidstone, Kent, nobody can get them fresher as I contact the action house directly. I buy local English flowers where I can and I have a good business relationship with my sweet pea and lavender growers. The flowers are cut as late as possible, keeping them very fresh for your wedding table.

I have taught floristry to adults for the past 20 years. I keep up with all the latest designs in floristry, as I am regularly taught by Dutch master florists, when I go for tuition, in the South East.

The “Green” Bit.

I try to be as eco friendly as possible, from business cards and leaflets printed on recycled paper, to sourcing natural products. I use wood where I have previously used plastic. Whenever possible, I try to use local flower growers, cutting down the carbon footprint.

"I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for all your hard work with the flowers. They all looked amazing and suited me and our wedding day perfectly... thanks for taking the time to get to know me and understand the kind of wedding flowers that matched the day."
